Join me, Esther, at Esther's Manna House for an unforgettable cooking experience where you’ll learn, from my 40 years of experience, to create a simplified version of Butter Chicken at home. This rich, indulgent, and flavourful dish, beloved across the Indian subcontinent, is rarely served in its authentic form, with less than 1% of restaurants offering the real deal. The class covers everything - all you need to do is show up! Details: Cooking skills: None required—this class is perfect for all skill levels, from novices to experts. Minimum age: 13* and above Not suitable for: Those with dairy** or nut*** allergies In this class, you'll master the art of cooking Butter Chicken and can enjoy it alongside Jeera (Cumin) rice, Rotti****, or a simple Indian salad. Prefer to take it home? Just bring your own containers. Note; - We do all the preparation (that is chopping before you come) - you simply bring yourself. - In your session you learn to cook not just for yourself on the day. You take away the knowledge and skills to cook for the whole family and friends mild/medium or hot variations of the same dish. - We only use freshly sourced ingredients and all fresh veg and meat are bought on the day. - Our ethos is to provide all attendees the confidence to cook and eat quality food and as much as possible we source locally (exceptions are the exotic ingredients and world foods). - You are free to communicate after your session for 4 weeks if you get stuck at any stage or have any questions which might help you - we simply want you to enjoy cooking authentic Indian food at home. - We provide cold and hot drinks throughout your session. So, come and have a fun filled cooking day with Esther - memories you make will last you many years to come. Note: * Participants aged 13-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. **Lactose allergy applies. ***Nut allergies as defined by the FSA include tree nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, macadamia nuts). ****Rotti (Indian flatbread). Time permitting, you may have the chance to make your own Rotti.
